Feeling alone? Pastor wife encouragement
When you’re married to a pastor, you definitely experience peaks and valleys.
We enjoy some great perks being married to pastors. The gifts, the love, the feeling of usefulness and purpose – all are a blast for me. It’s a blessing if you “work” it and not allow it to “work” you. I love the influence. When you are able to influence people, you’re also able to be a blessing of support and encouragement.
Pastor wife encouragement means something to some people. It has value to them and that is a blessing to us. Influence means you can touch someone’s life with very little effort on your part. That is a huge blessing and a result of God’s favor.
Hey! I always say how much it amazes me how much a simple gesture, like a hospital visit or attending a funeral means to someone just because of whom I married. Such a blessing!

Pastor wife encouragement is great, but we have another side to being a pastors wife
But, it’s not all rainbows and sunshine, Sugar. We also have some serious down sides to being a pastors wife. That’s when you need encouragement to help you “run on” and advance toward the Lord’s purpose for your life.
You must know this, Pastor’s Wife…
God knows all about it.
He sees you.
You may feel left alone, but, you’re really not. I know you know this already, but sometimes it’s good to get a reminder.
Trust me, I have had to remind myself of this same truth many times throughout the years.
God is always with us, and is never more than a “call” away. He will show up for you.
Perhaps, He may send just the right scripture or even just the right person to encourage you at just the right time.

Sometimes, it’s just the pastor’s fault though.
Hey, reality states is what it is.
Lots of pastors are driven, ambitious and …dare I say it…. WORKAHOLICS!
Many of them equate church work with God Himself, and as a result, they may neglect everything (and often everyone) else in their world . At times, they may even neglect you.
God knows. He sees. He understands exactly how neglect makes you feel.
Please, don’t despair, remember that God sees your struggle, just as He did Hagar in the desert.
He sent her help and He will send you help too.
Her’s came in the form of an angel (Genesis 16:7-16).
Be comforted knowing God values your contribution to the ministry.

Sometimes you gotta slow that pastor down!
Sometimes, God will use you to speak wisdom into your husband. When you know what you’re going to say, be wise,
Don’t tell him after a long day; he’ll only be defensive. Pray about the “right” time.
Also, you may not need to tell him at all.
During our early years of marriage, I wasn’t sure how to tell my husband he was gone too much,
So, I would just pray about it, and BOOM! Out of the blue, my husband would have an epiphany.
He’d say something like “Babe, I’ve been away too much lately. Let’s do something together.” Seriously! It’s happened many times!
Yup, God can move your hubby quicker and more efficiently than you ever could!
Go ahead, use your prayer tool!

Pastor’s wife encouragement conclusion…
You are not alone, invisible or rejected.
Your Father in heaven will never leave you comfortless.
Read Isaiah 30:15:
“In repentance and rest is your salvation,
in quietness and trust is your strength,…”.
Keep your heart clean and your direction secure with a repentance from heart.
Be quiet and trust God. He’s got you!
