Relax…it’s all good!

Don’t stress, Pastor’s Wife!

Encouragement for the Pastor’s Wife…

Before the very foundations of the world, God knew you would be where you are right this minute in your life and that you’d be married to a pastor. He also knew exactly who you would become and what you would be doing. There are no surprises with Him. Isn’t that great to know, Pastor’s Wife?

“So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” Isaiah 41:10

You’re right for this role. You’re cut out for it. While the world may seem to be going absolutely crazy now, all is not chaotic. The Lover of your soul is not surprised, confused, or dismayed. He’s in perfect control. NONE of this caught Him off-guard.

A pastor’s wife is a normal, ordinary Christian woman married to a senior pastor or pastor in leadership.

You’re not superhuman.

Yeah, life gets hard for a pastors’ wife.

I know it’s taxing, but each day, you’re getting the strength you need to manage it all and you’re getting fresh mercy to boot! You may feel at your wit’s end, but you’re not. There is an invisible “knot” at the end of your proverbial rope. When you feel you’re “slipping”, you’ll only go so far because the “Knot” is there.

What is the Knot? Who is the know? He’s your precious Companion, the Holy Spirit. He’s going to direct you through the quagmire of today, tomorrow, and forevermore.

The Lord is our respite. So is coffee.
Are you a coffee or tea person? Let me know below!

You. Can. Do. This…both being a pastor’s wife and being a strong Christian Woman!

You have the strength to do it and the stamina to ride it out.

Don’t sell yourself short by comparing yourself to other people.

Don’t believe everything you see on television.

Don’t take it at face value. God is at work beneath even the worse headlines.

Embrace the peace of the Holy Spirit. Embrace this role as pastor’s wife. Lean on the Lord in prayer and Bible study and you’ll be just fine. Try to do it on your own, you’ll be burned out and whipped.

Pastor’s Wive and Church People

Set boundaries, but embrace it all. Embrace the call God has on your life to be the “heart” of your congregation.

He’s got you covered and will even catch you should you fall.

If you do, He’s always available to pick you back up, strengthen you with His might and keep you in your lane.

You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.
Psalm 18:36

Jesus has grace for pastors’ wives

Hang in there, First Lady, Pastor’s wife….He’s got all the grace you need to help you keep it all “together.”

Let’s talk about it, Pastor’s Wife!

In this season of “hard times”, I’m planning a Zoom call for a limited number of PASTORS’ WIVES ONLY.

We will not:

  • Say church names for privacy reasons.
  • Promote any other events (for just relaxation reasons)
  • Share information too private that may compromise our safety or reputation. If you need someone to talk to, we may be able to schedule a one-on-one time. I want to protect you.

I’d love to meet you online and encourage you in the Lord. I’ll give you 3 tips for surviving this rough season. If you’re interested, please RSVP below. [This session has passed. Subscribe to learn about future online events!]
