Encouragement for Pastors Wives: Why I Launched a Podcast Just for You
It’s been a while since I’ve posted new content specifically for pastors wives, hasn’t it?
Life has a way of pulling us in so many directions.
Frankly, I’ve been trying to navigate it all, step by step, just like you probably are.
Between managing responsibilities at home, supporting ministry work, and simply taking care of my own emotional and spiritual health, things have been moving fast. But through it all, I’ve been working on something really special that I’m finally ready to share with you.
Why a Podcast?
One of the projects I’m most excited about right now is my brand-new podcast created especially for pastors wives and Christian women who need a fresh word, a little encouragement, and a whole lot of honesty.
Podcasting has opened up a new space for me to connect with you in a raw, authentic, and real-time way. No editing, no filtering, and no stressing over perfect grammar or the right word placement. Just me, speaking from my heart, and hopefully speaking to yours. I believe there’s power in hearing someone say what you’ve been feeling. That’s the goal of this podcast.
You can find the podcast in the Google Play Store and on Apple Podcasts. I’d love for you to give it a listen when you have a few minutes to yourself. Whether you’re driving to church, washing dishes, or sitting quietly with a cup of coffee, my prayer is that the words shared will uplift you, remind you that you’re not alone, and help you breathe a little deeper.
A Transparent Space for Real Talk
I do want to give you a fair warning. I’m transparent. I’m honest. I’m real. If you’ve followed me for a while or know me in real life, you already know I don’t pretend.
This podcast won’t be polished perfection or a collection of surface-level devotions. I’m not interested in painting a picture of life that doesn’t reflect the grit, the grace, and the messiness that comes with being a pastor’s wife. There’s no pretending that ministry life doesn’t hurt sometimes. I won’t sugar-coat that for you.
What I will do is share what I’ve learned, what I’m learning, and even what I’m struggling with.
Because I truly believe God can use even our toughest moments to minister to others. I want to be useful, not impressive. That’s the heart behind everything I share—both on this blog and now on the podcast. If we can encourage each other and walk this road together, that’s more than enough for me.

Let’s Build Community Together
I want to hear from you. Your voice matters too. If something resonates with you on the podcast, leave a comment here or message me. Share your own story. Give your own advice. Let’s build each other up, because this role we’re in can feel isolating. We need community now more than ever, and sometimes it starts with something as simple as one honest conversation.
You have something to say. You have something to offer. Don’t ever let the enemy make you believe your voice doesn’t matter. Whether you’re new to ministry or you’ve been in this for decades, your experience carries weight. Your insight could help another pastor’s wife survive her hardest week. That’s the power of sharing.
God Chose You for This
Being a pastor’s wife can be incredibly taxing. There’s a weight to it that few understand unless they’ve lived it. You carry burdens no one sees.
You smile when you want to cry. You serve even when your own cup is empty. And yet, despite all of that, God still chose you.
Before the foundations of the world, He knew exactly who you’d be, where you’d serve, and how you’d grow through it all. That’s not by accident. You were placed in this role on purpose, for a purpose.
Standing Still Is Still Victory
Some days, all you can do is stand. And I want you to know—standing is not weakness. It’s strength. It’s obedience. It’s endurance.
When the wind blows and the pressure mounts, and you’re still standing—that, my sister, is a victory. Ephesians 6:13 tells us, “and having done all, to stand.” God sees your effort. He sees your faithfulness. And He honors it, even when no one else does.

So hang in there.
Don’t lose heart. Whether you’re thriving or barely hanging on, you’re not alone in this. And if you need a voice of encouragement in your ear, I’m here.
Let’s walk through it together—honestly, prayerfully, and with the understanding that we’re all learning how to stand stronger in the calling God gave us.
Benefits of a Pastors Wives Podcast
Christian podcasts offer pastors wives a flexible and uplifting way to stay spiritually grounded throughout the week.
Whether you’re folding laundry, commuting, or just trying to grab a few quiet moments, a podcast can pour life-giving truth into your spirit without demanding your full attention.
For pastors wives, this kind of content is gold—it’s encouraging, biblically sound, and often speaks directly to the challenges we face in ministry.
A good Christian podcast doesn’t just entertain; it edifies and equips you to stand stronger in your role.
Another major benefit of listening to a Christian podcast is the sense of connection it brings.
Pastors wives can feel isolated or misunderstood, but hearing another woman share her heart through a podcast reminds you that you are not alone.
These audio moments can feel like a conversation with a friend who gets it.
Podcasts offer inspiration, spiritual growth, and real talk—all without the pressure of being “on.”
It’s community, comfort, and clarity wrapped into one powerful tool for ministry life.
Mentorship Over the Airwaves
One of the most beautiful things about Christian podcasts is that they offer mentorship in moments when you feel most alone.
So many pastors wives long for a seasoned woman to walk alongside them, to speak truth without judgment, and to help process the emotional complexities of ministry life.
A podcast for pastors wives can serve as a kind of virtual mentorship.
You may not have someone local to talk to, but you can put in your earbuds and immediately receive wisdom from someone who has walked a similar road.
It’s not about giving perfect answers—it’s about helping you feel seen, heard, and reminded that you’re not in this alone.
Where You Are
Another benefit of a podcast for pastors wives is its accessibility.
You don’t have to wait for a Sunday service or a midweek Bible study. You can listen at 2:00 a.m. when you’re awake worrying about your kids, your marriage, or that difficult church meeting.
You can press play while you’re folding laundry or driving to pick up groceries. Christian podcasts are on-demand, always ready to speak peace into your chaos.
That’s powerful. I believe the Word of God doesn’t have to be confined to a pulpit.
When pastors wives can get biblical encouragement anytime, anywhere, we stay spiritually full in the day-to-day trenches.
My podcast is especially tailored to address the very real and specific experiences pastors wives go through.
What I’ll Talk About
Topics include navigating expectations as a First Lady, managing boundaries with church members, praying through spiritual dryness, balancing home and ministry, handling betrayal, rediscovering your personal identity, and facing criticism with grace.
Each episode is recorded from a place of honesty.
I don’t pretend to have it all together, and I don’t expect you to either. My goal is to create a podcast that tells the truth about ministry life while pointing us back to Jesus every single time.
Sisterhood at Its Best
Another unexpected blessing of podcasting is the community it builds.
As pastors wives, we often pour out to others but rarely get poured into. A podcast gives us a space to connect, even across miles.
When I receive your comments or hear your prayer requests, it reminds me that we’re all in this together. This isn’t just content—it’s connection.
I want every listener to feel like she has a seat at the table, like her voice matters too. That’s why your feedback, emails, and episode suggestions are so important to me. They help shape this ministry.
